Designer Stephen Shotton studied Industrial Design at Central St. Martins, graduating in 1994. He then joined Ogilvy & Mather Advertising as an Art Director. In 2001 Stephen joined Dyson, working for their Visual Communications Department and in 2002 was made Head of Creative. Towards the end of 2003 he moved to Sydney. Whilst in Australia, Stephen worked freelance in advertising and design as well as retaining his ties with Dyson by heading up the creative work for Australia and New Zealand. Stephen moved back to the UK in May 2006 to start his own Interior Design Business.
"It was not a conscious decision to work across so many design disciplines, it is just how things panned out - from Product Design to creating TV ads, to working for Dyson’s Communications Department. I feel that I have learnt a huge amount from the different mentors I have worked with, each of whom were so passionate about their specific creative disciplines."
